# The gear we ride

Vitosha SnowKite School provides the kite equipment for a lesson on the Vitosha plateau above Sofia, Bulgaria, at 1,960 m: Flysurfer kites, Mystic harnesses, a helmet and a radio. Skis or a snowboard, ski goggles and warm clothing are your own — goggles are required, and we do not rent skis or snowboards, but can help you find somewhere that does. The season runs from December through the end of April, subject to conditions.

Included in every lesson.

- **Flysurfer kites** — stable, safe and very forgiving for beginners
- **Mystic harnesses** — comfortable, secure and hard-wearing
- **Helmets and radios** — for safety and for coaching you mid-run

## Yours to bring

- **Skis or a snowboard** — Bring your own — we do not rent skis or snowboards. If you have none, we can help you find somewhere to rent them.
- **Ski goggles** — Required, like the helmet. Bring your own — we do not provide them.
- **Warm clothing** — Dress as for a ski day: warm, waterproof layers and gloves.
